     Beginning in November 2004 Evangelist Dr. Gary Barnes and (son) Evan L. Barnes was impressed by the Lord to have fundamental Christian family radio in West Georgia. The Barnes family began to pray and diligently search sources for available radio stations. For over seven years all the reports said, nothing avaiable.
    Through continued prayer and seeking, God opened the opportunity for WEYY in Tallapoosa, GA in January 2012.
    Dr. Barnes was saved at the age of 12 and called to preach in 1975. He and his wife Georgia moved to Douglasville, Ga in 1977 and joined The King's Way Baptist Church. After attending Hyles-Anderson College in Crown Point, IN. Brother Barnes worked on staff at King's Way with Pastors Mike Johns and Wayne Cowling from 1982-1995.
    In the years from 1968-1978 God used great fundamental radio preachers like Lester Roloff, Oliver Green, J. Vernon McGee, Harold Slighter, Maze Jackson and Edgar Thomas to stir Brother Barnes heart for radio and in 1977 he started his own fifteen minute radio program in Douglasville. As a pastor and evangelist Brother Barnes has conducted broadcast on three stations.
